the eastern section of the park. Majestic desert environment on the
Colorado Plateau. Open to professional visual artists in all disciplines, as well as performing and literary artists.
Artists asked to donate one finished work and present two public programs
(one in the park, and one at Southern Utah Univ.). Works completed under this program "contribute
to the public understanding and appreciation" of the Park and reflect
the NPS mission to preserve and protect Zion's cultural and natural
